1. Job Vacancy: Grant Writer for Local NGO (Closed)
Job Responsibilities
- Research and identify new government, corporate, foundation and other grant opportunities that align with our mission and programs
- Develop compelling grant proposals and applications, including writing project narratives, budgets, and assembling required attachments
- Manage relationship with program officers and funders, providing required interim and final grant reports
- Work closely with the leadership team to understand funding priorities and develop a grants acquisition strategy
- Maintain a calendar of submission deadlines for various grant programs
- Track and report on all grant activities and outcomes
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as literature, Communications, and Management.
- Proven experience in grant writing or fundraising, preferably within the non-profit sector
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Strong research and analytical abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy

Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and customize training materials and courses that align with project goals and objectives.
- Develop training materials, including presentations, handouts, and multimedia resources.
- Conduct effective and engaging training sessions for diverse audiences.
- Deliver training sessions using a variety of instructional techniques in delivering content effectively and encourage participant interaction.
- Conduct regular reviews of training content to ensure accuracy, currency, and effectiveness.
- Update materials as needed to reflect best practices and continuous improvement areas required.
- Prepare feedback forms and make necessary adjustments on the forms and file the data of each feedback
- Translating of training materials to Afan Oromo
- Work closely with project coordinators to align training programs with project goals.
- Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and participant evaluations.
- Provide timely reports to senior management and to other required department
- Educational background:Bachelor’s degree or Master’s in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or related field.
- Experience: two and above years of experience as a Teacher or Trainer, preferably in education institutions or NGO’s.
- Language proficiency:in writing, reading, and listening required for Amharic, Afan Oromo, and English.
- Strong knowledge of logistics field and teaching methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Facilitate the establishment and management of cooperatives in collaboration with local communities.
- Build and maintain relationships with project stakeholders in the regions, including local communities to foster collaboration and communication.
- Conduct capacity-building trainings and initiatives for cooperative members and project beneficiaries.
- Oversee the planning, implementation, and monitoring of assigned projects.
- Regularly assess project outcomes, collect data, and prepare reports for Management
- Ensure resources are allocated efficiently and in accordance with project requirements.
